Bills are never fun but at least BPAY makes paying them quick and easy. It’s as painless as paying a bill can be.

What is BPAY?

The fastest, easiest way to pay

BPAY is a bill payment service accepted by over 45,000 billers. It lets you pay anytime and anywhere you have internet or mobile banking. 

Get organised with BPAY View®

BPAY View® lets you see who you’ve paid and when. All your bills are delivered directly to your internet banking and you'll receive a notification when they arrive. No more paper bills on the fridge.

Pay your way

You can pay one-off bills or schedule regular payments. These bills can be paid from your bank account, or some billers accept credit card payments.disclaimer

Getting started

Register for ANZ Internet Banking or ANZ Phone Banking.

Internet Banking

  1. Log in to Internet Banking
  2. Select Payments from the top menu and choose Pay BPAY bill
  3. Select the Account you want to pay from
  4. Choose a BPAY biller from your existing list or click on Add a new biller (you’ll need the biller code and reference number)
  5. Nominate the amount and add a reference or message (both optional) that the recipient will see on their transaction details
  6. Choose to make a payment TodayLater or if you want to set up regular payments, you can choose Recurring
  7. Follow the prompts to finish your payment

ANZ App

  1. Log in to the ANZ App
  2. Go to the Accounts and tap Pay
  3. Choose from your list of existing billers or tap the + icon to add a new biller
  4. Choose to make a payment TodayLater or if you want to set up regular payments, you can choose Recurring
  5. Follow the prompts to finalise your payment

From your power bill to your car rego, over 45,000 billers accept BPAY. Visit the BPAY website to view a list of all of the billers who accept BPAY.

   What if a biller doesn’t take credit cards for payment?

You can still pay with your credit card but it'll be treated as a cash advance. Fees may apply.

  How long does BPAY take?

If you make your BPAY payment before 6pm Melbourne time on a bank business day, it will generally go through on the same day.

Payments requested after this time will be debited immediately but may be processed on the next business day.
