Ways to pay your credit card

Pay your ANZ credit card online, set up CardPay Direct, use BPAY®, or explore instalment options. It’s secure, flexible and easy.

 

Payment options for your credit card

Make a one-off
payment

Make a one-off payment or transfer from an ANZ linked account in the ANZ App and Internet Banking. Use BPAYdisclaimer if paying from a non-ANZ account. 

 

Minimum monthly payments

You must pay the minimum monthly amount, including any ANZ Instalment Plandisclaimer payments due. Check your statement for the exact amount.

Set monthly
payments

Specify a set amount each month. If the set amount is lower, we will debit your minimum monthly payment, listed on your statement, to help you avoid any late fees. 

Full closing balance
 

Clear the balance on your credit card each month. The closing balance amount includes any overdue/over limit amount owing as well as the current balance owing on the account.

How to pay your ANZ credit card

To pay your ANZ credit card in the ANZ App

Instantly pay to your ANZ Credit Card in the ANZ App:

Log in to the ANZ App.

Go to your eligible Credit Card Account.

Tap Statements.

Tap Payment Options and follow the prompts.

 

How to pay your credit card in Internet Banking

Use Internet Banking to manage your ANZ card payment:

Log in to Internet Banking.

Select Payments or select your Credit Card.

Select Pay ANZ Credit Card and follow the prompts.

You can specify a set amount each month. If the set amount is lower, we will debit your minimum monthly payment, listed on your statement, to help you avoid any late fees.

Pay your ANZ card securely with the ANZ App:

Log in to the ANZ App.

Tap Transfer from your accounts screen.

Follow the prompts to transfer money to your ANZ Credit Card account.

How to transfer to your credit card in Internet Banking

Directly transfer to your credit card in Internet Banking:

Log in to Internet Banking.

Select Payments.

Select Transfer between my accounts, and follow the prompts.

Tip: You can make a one-off payment or transfer, recurring or future payments.

Pay from a non-ANZ account with BPAYdisclaimer

You can pay your ANZ credit card from a non-ANZ account using BPAY. All you need is:

  • ANZ's biller code: 6007
  • Bill reference number: Your 16-digit credit card number or account number

Check with your institution for cut-off times and please note that BPAY payments can take 2-3 business days to reach your card account.

How to set up CardPay Direct

Use CardPay Direct to automate your ANZ credit card payments:

Choose your account with ANZ or any Australian bank. Payments are drawn on your due datedisclaimerdisclaimer; extra payments are allowed.

Select your preferred payment option. Choose minimum, nominated amount, or full closing balance.

Complete and send the CardPay Direct form. Submit the completed form via email or mail using the details on the form.

You’ll receive a letter confirming your request has been processed. Your next statement will include the date of your first CardPay Direct payment. Please continue making payments as usual until ANZ confirms when transfers will begin from your nominated account.

FAQs

With "Pay ANZ Credit Card", in Internet Banking the credit card payments will be made on the due date. You can find the due date listed on your account statement.

Yes. If you have set up an automatic payment via the "Pay ANZ Credit Card" in Internet Banking, these payments will be made irrespective of whether you make other payments to your credit card account.

  • If you have already made a manual payment to your ANZ Credit Card, we recommend you skip the automatic payment via the "Future Payment/Transfers" under the "Pay and transfer" menu.
  • Payments must be skipped prior to 11.59pm (AEST/AEDT) on the day prior to payment due date.
  • Any payments made after the date your statement was issued, or in addition to the amount specified on your statement, will not be taken into account when using this payment option.

When you request any automatic payment or regular payment in ANZ Internet Banking, please remember that cleared funds must be available in your account by 12.00am (midnight AEST) on the day before the scheduled payment date. Otherwise, your payment will be unsuccessful.

You’ll need to check your statement for the Adjusted Closing Balance first. Then select Pay Other Amount in the ANZ App and input your Adjusted Closing Balance as the amount to be paid.

Your ANZ credit card statement might request an immediate payment if there’s an amount listed as overdue or overlimit.

In that case, we’ll increase your minimum monthly payment or set monthly amount to ensure the amount’s covered in your next repayment.

The ANZ Internet Banking "Pay ANZ Credit Card" payments will be made irrespective of whether you make other payments to your credit card. If you exceed your allocated credit limit, you will need to make an immediate payment yourself to ensure your credit rating is maintained and to avoid incurring interest.

If you have exceeded your credit card limit and have selected the minimum payment to be paid to your credit card, the over-limit amount and minimum payment will be charged. If, however you make a payment yourself, this will not alter or affect the Pay ANZ Credit Card payment which will occur on the due date of your payment.
