On Monday 12 May, Nuno Matos took the helm of ANZ as the bank’s new CEO, taking over from Shayne Elliott.
For Matos, the day was a chance to set the tone for his leadership, by meeting with customers, frontline branch staff and taking questions in a town hall meeting attended by more than 12,000 employees both in-person and online.
Photographer Arsineh Houspian captured the day – from the morning in Melbourne’s ANZ Bourke Street Home branch to the afternoon at the bank’s Docklands HQ.
