Our unique interconnected network spans 18 markets, and the geographies we cover represent 75% of global trade flows. This creates great opportunities to build technical expertise across multiple markets and to collaborate with international teams to deliver tailored solutions to our institutional customers.
Supporting our customers to move capital and goods around Asia, Europe and America, our international teams get exposure to global transactions in sectors including resources, energy and infrastructure, aerospace and shipping, international technology and financial institutions.

Our international locations
Singapore
ANZ has operated in Singapore since 1974, making it the oldest and largest Australian bank in the country. It also serves as one of ANZ’s two regional headquarters in Asia. Our Singapore business offers a full range of products for our corporate and institutional customers and is home to our largest markets presence outside Australia.
Hong Kong SAR
ANZ established a presence in Hong Kong in 1970 and is our second regional Asian headquarters, alongside Singapore. The Hong Kong team leverages its extensive experience in sectors such as financial services, resources, food and agribusiness, infrastructure, technology, property, transport and logistics, to create business opportunities and drive economic growth.
China
ANZ has been in China since 1986 and is the only Australian bank to be locally incorporated. Over the past three decades, ANZ remains one of Australia’s largest investors in China, well-positioned to support our customers’ increasing financial needs and growing business opportunities across the country.
Taiwan
ANZ has been in Taiwan since 1980 and has been a keen participant in its economic transformation. ANZ Taiwan serves the evolving needs of Taiwan’s financial institutions and major corporates, and is regarded as a top foreign bank in terms of market penetration.
New Zealand
ANZ is Aotearoa New Zealand’s oldest bank, with origins stretching back to 1840. ANZ New Zealand offers a full range of banking options, including Personal, Business, Institutional, Funds Management and Private Banking.
Pacific Islands
Our presence in the Pacific began in Fiji in 1880 and now also includes operations in the Cook Islands, Kiribati, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Timor Leste, Tonga and Vanuatu. ANZ offers a range of banking services across the Pacific, including personal and business banking.
United Kingdom and Europe
Our teams in London, Frankfurt and Paris support investment grade multinational corporations and financial institutions that have operations, investments and export business in ANZ’s core markets of Australia, New Zealand and Asia/Pacific.
United States
Our New York office opened in 1968 and today it concentrates on corporate and investment banking services and international trade finance. The investment banking team provides specialist strategic and financial advisory services to major companies, institutions and governments.
Japan
ANZ has been in Japan for almost 70 years, opening our first representative office in 1968, marking our initial footprint in Asia. The Tokyo team offers a broad range of commercial banking products and services to support the activities of our corporate and institutional customers.
Korea
We opened our first branch in South Korea in 1978. Our Seoul team offers a broad range of banking products and services to support the activities of our corporate and institutional customers.
Vietnam
ANZ is one of the first foreign banks to open in Vietnam and has been in the country since 1993. ANZ has offices in two major cities, Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. ANZ Vietnam is a hub for the Greater Mekong region and offers a full range of banking services to multinational corporates, large local corporates and financial institutions.
Philippines
ANZ has been in the Philippines since 1990. ANZ Philippines provides a suite of institutional banking products and services including domestic and foreign currency lending, trade and supply chain services, payments and cash management, foreign exchange, commodity and interest rate hedging products and debt capital markets.
Laos
ANZ became the first international bank to operate in Laos in 2007. ANZ aims to lead the advancement of the Laos banking sector by connecting clients with global opportunities.
India
ANZ has been in India since 1984 and is the only Australian bank with a branch license in India. ANZ has four branches in India (Mumbai, Gurugram, Bengaluru and GIFT City) and offers a full range of institutional banking services including Indian Rupee and foreign currency services, working capital and term financing, transaction banking, foreign exchange and interest rate solutions, deposits and advisory services.
Indonesia
We established our Indonesian presence in 1973, and we are now the largest Australian investor in Indonesia’s financial services sector. Our Indonesian team provide a full range of corporate and institutional banking solutions across markets, transaction banking and loans, and specialised finance.
The Middle East
The team in our Dubai office provide banking services to financial institutions and corporates across the United Arab Emirates, including transaction banking, finance, lending, markets, payments and cash management and strategic advice.
Thailand
ANZ has had a presence in Thailand since 1986. Operating as a representative office, ANZ Thailand provides strategic financial services to Thai corporates and financial institutions.
Malaysia
ANZ has had a presence in Malaysia since 1971. Operating as a representative office, ANZ Malaysia supports Malaysian corporates and financial institutions to move goods and capital across the world.
