There are different types of business bank accounts, so deciding what to look for depends on the needs of your business. At ANZ, your business bank account options include:
When choosing a business bank account or accounts, some of the factors you may consider are monthly fees, transaction limits, minimum deposits, features needed (eg. overdraft facility), ease of use and access to funds (eg any notice periods that apply), online access, and the ability to switch funds between accounts.
For a small business, working out what bank accounts might work for you depends on various factors including the terms, features and benefits that apply to the accounts and your specific needs.
A business transaction account allows you to handle daily transactions like deposits, withdrawals, and payments. It may include debit cards and online banking.
A business savings account may enable you to earn interest on savings.
A business term deposit may be an option that may help grow money over a fixed period of time. Keep in mind that there may be costs and a notice period to withdraw funds during the term.
Depending on your business needs, you may decide to use a combination of business transaction accounts, savings accounts and term deposit accounts.
Any advice does not take into account your personal needs, financial circumstances or objectives and you should consider whether it is appropriate for you.
ANZ recommends you read the applicable Terms and Conditions and the ANZ Financial Services Guide (PDF) before acquiring the product.
